1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using BIMind ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Description of Service
BIMind is an AI-assisted Building Information Modeling (BIM) viewer and analysis platform developed by Intento Labs. The Service allows you to upload, view, and analyse IFC models and generate AI-assisted construction schedules and insights.
3. User Accounts
You must sign in with a valid OAuth account (Google, GitHub, or Microsoft) to use the Service. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and for all activity that occurs under it.
4. Acceptable Use
- You may not upload files that contain malicious code or violate any applicable laws.
- You may not attempt to reverse engineer or scrape the Service.
- You may not share your account credentials with third parties.
5. Intellectual Property
All content, trademarks, and software comprising the Service are owned by Intento Labs or its licensors. Files you upload remain your property; you grant Intento Labs a limited license solely to process and return results to you.
6. Credits and Billing
The Service operates on a credit system. Credits are consumed per AI request. Purchased credits are non-refundable. Free credits may be modified or revoked at any time.
7. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. AI-generated outputs (schedules, cost estimates, etc.) are for informational purposes only and should not be relied upon as professional engineering, legal, or financial advice.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Intento Labs shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.
9. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance. You will be prompted to accept the new version upon next login.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Quebec, Canada, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

1. Information We Collect
- Account data: your name and email address from your OAuth provider.
- Usage data: actions performed (model loads, AI queries, exports) and credit transactions.
- Uploaded files: IFC files you upload are processed in memory and are not stored permanently on our servers.
- Log data: server logs including IP addresses, timestamps, and request details for security and debugging.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To provide and improve the Service.
- To manage your account, credits, and billing.
- To send service-related communications (no marketing without consent).
- To detect and prevent fraud or abuse.
3. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal data. We may share data with:
- Supabase – authentication and database hosting.
- Google (Gemini API) – to process your AI queries. Queries may include model descriptions you provide.
- Stripe – payment processing (billing users only).
- Render / Railway – cloud infrastructure hosting.
4. Data Retention
Account and usage data are retained for as long as your account is active, or as required by law. You may request deletion at any time by contacting us.
5. Security
We implement industry-standard security measures including TLS encryption in transit and access controls on our databases. However, no system is 100% secure.
6. Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your personal data. Contact privacy@intentolabs.com to exercise these rights.
7. Cookies
We use cookies and localStorage only for authentication session management and user preferences (theme, dismissed dialogs). No third-party advertising cookies are used.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy. When we do, we will increment the policy version and you will be prompted to re-accept on next login.
